Protection of your personal data
Data Collected and Purposes
We collect only what we need, and only when you give it to us.
•When you book: your first and last name, email address, telephone number, number of guests, the dates of your stay and, where applicable, a billing address.
•When you sign the contract: your signature, the date, your IP address and the type of device used. These last three are the proof of signature; they serve no other purpose.
•When you write to us: your email address, your message and your IP address.
•When you ask to be notified that dates have become available: your first and last name and your email address.
•When you accept audience measurement: the pages you view, with your IP address masked. Details are on the Cookies page.
We never ask for your date of birth, your occupation, or any sensitive data. Your bank details never reach us: payment takes place at our provider, and we keep only a transaction reference.
Who else has access. Your data is neither sold nor exchanged. Apart from us, only two providers are involved: the payment provider, to collect the deposit and the balance, and the website host, OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.
Emails are sent through our own mail relay, hosted on our server, without recourse to any third-party delivery provider. Our audience measurement tool is hosted by us, on the same server as the website: measurement data is passed to no third party, and it receives nothing unless you have accepted measurement.
All your data stays in France: the server hosting the website, the mail relay and the audience measurement is located in OVH's Gravelines data centre. No data is transferred outside the European Union.
Legal Basis for Processing
To carry out your booking — to contact you and to produce the contract, the invoice and the arrival guide. Without this data the booking cannot exist.
•Because the law requires it — retention of accounting records, and logging of access to the wireless network made available to you.
•Because you consented — audience measurement, and nothing else. You may change your mind at any time through the "Manage cookies" link at the foot of the page.
•To protect the site — limiting repeated attempts, in order to prevent abuse.
Retention Period
The signed contract: 5 years after your departure. This is the period during which a dispute may still be brought before a court.
•Invoices: 10 years, as accounting law requires.
•Website traffic data: 393 days, after which it is deleted.
•Your booking details: kept for as long as they are useful in following up your stay, then erased at your request — see the Personal data page.
You do not have to wait for these deadlines: an erasure request is handled at any time, save for documents the law obliges us to keep
Your Rights
At any time, you may:
•find out what data we hold about you, and obtain a copy of it;
•have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
•have it erased, except where the law obliges us to keep it;
•object to a processing operation, and withdraw the consent you gave to audience measurement — through the "Manage cookies" link at the foot of every page.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
